History and Evolution

NILRA was launched to strengthen the capacity to provide emergency immigration legal defense amid anticipated increases in arrests, detentions, and deportations. As the landscape has evolved, NILRA has adapted to meet urgent and emerging needs while working to minimize duplication of effort across the immigration legal services field.
